Please recommend salons in Brooklyn that are worthy of doing my day of hair. I never had an updo before so I am a bit lost. Thanks!!!!

concept elite by kings plaza is pretty good! i havent gone there in while, but last i did was for an updo and i loved it!

theres a place on Avenue U and Flatbush Ave... i cant remember the name right now... but we got our hair done there for my friends wedding.... and my 2 of my friends are getting their hair done there for my wedding...
ETA: It's Concept Elite as Janis said... and we got our make up done there too... that i dont recommend... even the woman that did my make up told me i looked like a hooker...

Salon Da Noi... Bay Ridge (Fifth Avenue at 82nd) where Kleinfeld's used to be. Try to get an appt with Olympia... she is great.

How about Pilo Arts on 3rd Avenue and 84 street. They are good. I did my hair & makeup there for my best friend's wedding.
Salon Da Noi is also great. Always go there for coloring or haircut.

Pilo Arts in Bay ridge - ask for Sinead. I've been going to her since High School and she's awesome. I still go to her eventhough I live in long island now. She did my hair for my sisters wedding last year and it came out awesome. Their phone # is 718-748-7411.
