I am getting my makeup done before my hair, but this is because the makeup lady does it like that. She is coming to my house at like 7 and then we are going to the salon to get our hair done. It may sound like a lot of time, but I dont want to run behind schedule and I want to be ready for pictures at 1pm before we leave for the church to see FH.
i believe it's usually hair first then makeup...
Honestly, I think 9am (finish time approx 10am) is too long of a span before 3pm to be waiting around....
Definitely too early!
i think that is too early....
I m getting makeup doen at 10 and the church is at two...I didnt think that was a problem, but I guess you are adding 2 hours to that...there is no way she can do it a little later.
I did my makeup first, it will be fine.
they say you should do your hair first, then make-up...hairspray gets on face etc. i would try to do the hair at 9am and then the make-up...or makeup at 11 after hair.
If it's airbrush then you are fine... I had airbrush for my wedding and it lasted 14 hours! If you have oily skin (like me) then just bring some blot papers (i got the ones from MAC) or blot your face w/ toilet paper before the church starts!
I had my make-up done early as well...he arrived at 8 something and the ceremony wasnt until 2:30...it stayed on all day and night...if the make up artist knows what they are doing they can prime you and make sure that stuff stays on all day...i was a little concerned too but i had nothing to worry about
