Day of prep: Hair or Make-up. Which gets done first?

Day of prep: Hair or Make-up. Which gets done first?

For thos of you who are not using one person for both, which part of this gets done first? I am asking bc my make-up team is now coming to my house and I am unsure if me and the girls should get hair done then make-up or vice versa.

I was told hair was first.

ETA: But you should be the last one to get done. The BP and Moms would go before you. Save the best for last.

My makeup person said makeup should be done first if you are doing airbrush, so she doesnt get the airbrush on the veil. But this may be because I am going to a salon to get my hair done, so my hair person wont have an opportunity to put my veil on after makeup.

Hair first and then makeup (non airbrush). In the weddign I was in, we were running late so the bride got done first and I second (was the MOH). So that way she can take pictures.

So what if your getting airbrush??? Should you get that done first then hair?

Makeup artist told me I have to be the first person to get my hair done but I'll be somewhere in the middle for the makeup.

I think i might be the odd ball here. I am going first, and I am getting my makeup done before my hair....

Hair then make up! This way you can foundation on your face where your hair can sometimes cover.
