is anyone not going all out on shoes for the wedding??
i'm tall 5'8''ish-5'9'', i hate wearing heels, i can barely walk in heels, my dress is poofy and you cant even see my feet...therefore, im thinking about just getting cute, white, ballet flats.

I'm not going too crazy..I think I'm gonna get cute shoes for the church and then have ballet flats to change into for the reception. i'm not a shoe girl- ive never been into shoes. they just dont interest me, so id rather keep it simple.

Re: day of shoes...
I'm getting a shoe that has prob less than a 2 inch heel. Seriously I don't want my feet to hurt at my wedding!!! I am going to get them dyed blue but the place where I am buying them from will dye them for free so I am totally not going all out for my wedding shoes.

Well I am 5'2' and FH is 6'7' So I def want to wear heels...but I am not going too spendy because they will be covered by my dress, so I will probably go with something simple.

Re: day of shoes...
I was going to spend less on my gown and get Manolos.....but I fell in love with an Eve of Milady gown and decided to spend more on the gown and go with non-designer shoes. But they still have a 3' heel as I'm only 4'11'. FH isn't all that tall (5'6'), but he still has 7 inches on me.

I am not a big shoe person either. Also, I am looking for a heel that is less than two inches... FH is only 1-2 inches taller than me. I am putting lifts in his shoes lol.

Re: day of shoes...
I am 6'1 But I always wear heels and FH is 6'3 so I am wearing heels and then maybe switching into flats to dance. I am not spending a ton of $$ on shoes but I love my shoes!! I am trying to attach a pic of my shoes...lets see if it works....
I'm seriously considering just getting a nice, comfy pair of sandals or flip flops or something...I almost want to wear sneakers (Father of the Bride, anyone? ) I like heels but I just want to be comfortable on my wedding day

I'm at a loss on this one... I'm not a shoe person but I def. need heels b/c FH is 6'3 and I am 5'3'. I'm afraid to buy cheap heels bc I don't want them to kill my feet... i have no idea what to do. Also I have no idea what kind of shoe is going to look right with my gown!!!!

Re: day of shoes...
Shawn is just a little over an inch taller than I am, but I hate to say it, I bought three pairs of shoes already for our wedding and each heel is a minimum of 3'...I will be making sure to put some kind of lifts in his shoes so it can even out our height the day of. I am a MAJOR shoe-a-holic, I bought two silver stilletto/spike heels shoe's (One has really pretty/sexy crystal's up the front and around the heel strap...The other has crystal's up the front but has offwhite ribbon to keep it on your foot...LOVE them!! Both are all open and almost sandal like...) and I also got a simple pair of white platform sandals to wear towards the very end of the night on the way to the hotel... When I wear heels like that, I swear by the Dr.Scholl's for women line. The ball of foot cushions work well and the friction stick is INSANE!! Definately try those out before the wedding and see if you like them!!

You're like my twin lol I'm 5 foot 8 too and I have never ever in MY LIFE worn heels, because I would fall over and break my leg.
I don't have my dress yet, but it IS going to be poofy, so I am going for ballet flats as well. I want to be as comfy as possible.

Re: day of shoes...
ballet flats for me too, I'm about your height as well and cannot walk in heels. Maybe nice shoes for the cermony and flats for the rest of the evening. I'm a big fan of comfort.
