day of shoes...are these ugly?? be honest!

Original post by Ilovebriani

i have to order my dress today...it takes 8 months to come in they say!! so i had to get my shoes ASAP so they can measure me for length. i LOVE wearing shoes with heels (although i rarely wear high heels anymore, i have to wear flats where i work)....so when i DO wear them, sometimes i get really uncomfortable after a while. so i was a little nervous about getting taller shoes for the wedding (even though i am so short). i tried on a bunch of low heels and they were all uncomfortable (or i felt like they might become uncomfortable after a while after a while) (near the toe area). when i tried these on they were SOOO unbelieveably comfortable b/c the heel is low, and the front of the shoe dosnt push into my foot. the front of the shoe looks nice on....just not crazy about the look of the heel ( i actually wasnt even going to try them on bc they looked ugly to me on the rack) , but at this point i feel like i have no choice since we i am going to measured for my gown today.

here is the pic.... what do you think? (honestly, lol) does it really matter???

I like # 3, then # 2. I think # 2 is nicer even-though the heel is shorter. But, as other's have said- you will not see them under your dress. Go w/ what is most comfortable.

The look.... comfortable :) But, who's going to be looking at your feet? If they're white and you can walk/dance in them, I say its a go.

I like the third pair the best but wear what is most comfortable

i actually don`t mind the heel. for onw how many people are going to see that with your dress on?? and 2 if they are comfortable then go for it because who wants to have achy feet on a day like this!! i need a lower heel too FH is only a few incles taller then me so if i go high we`ll look ridiculous in pics! gl

thanks ladies! well, i ended up getting measured for my dress anyway yesterday and they just decided to add an inch just in case i decide to get a different pair of shoes. But of course i went home and tried the original first pair of shoes on again, and yes....they are SOO comfortable. i have a feeling i may just end up keeping them. they really do look pretty on (besides the heel, lol)

These look like the classic wedding shoe, they look very comfy, if you like them go for it, no one is going to see what shoes you are wearing.

Personally, I like a taller heel, but if you are all about comfort then go for it!
