Day of the wedding - Cash tips

This is hard for me bc I'm doing an all inclusive package...so idk how much the bill really is for each vendor! In my head I keep thinking $100 for photo/video $50 limo, florist isn't gong to take anything (family friend) , but I'm gong to trybc she will be traveling all over nNassau and they r very far out east! Photobooth $50, matre de we have to do $2 or $3 pp

My question is.....are you just handing them an envelope with cash or r u give it to them in a thank u card?

I think a thank you card is really nice, especially for someone like the bridal attendant, maitre de, photographer.. The people with you alllll day.

You could do a general statement, thank you for your services for my special day......
Or thank you for all that you did today......

I definitely think it should be based off the services provided instead of a set price. Weddings are expensive enough as it is.

Day of the wedding - Cash tips

For my engagement party, I wrote out tip envelopes and wrote on them how much I wanted to tip depending on service. I left them with my MOH (also my sister, love her) and she was able to give them out for me. I ended up giving everyone everything in the envelopes, and then gave even more because I wanted to tip our bartender who was AMAZING and gave the entire wedding party TONS of shots even though he wasn't supposed to.

I do have a question, though. My contract for the wedding states that the entire wait staff makes more than regular waiters and that I don't have to tip them. Does anyone else's say this? And do you guys tip anyway?
