So I know some people say I don't have to be thinking about this now, but I think I do.
I started making up a rough timeline of how the day of the wedding.
Here is what I came up with so far and you girls tell me if you think I am not leaving enough time for certain things, if i'm leaving too much time, or if I am leaving anything out.
10:00am - wake up (yes I scheduled when I am waking up ), shower.
11:30am - Hair appointment
1:30pm - Makeup appt at the house.
1:30pm - when I would like the flowers to arrive
2:00pm - when I would like the photographer to arrive at my house (I am going to be getting a 10 hour package with whoever I book)
2:30pm - get dressed, take some photos with BMs.
3:15pm - limo picks up FI and GMs to take them to church (about a 30 mins drive)
3:45pm - limo comes to pick up me and BMs (about a 5 min drive to church)
4:00pm - ceremony begins
4:30pm - ceremony ends (leave 30 mins for receiving line)
5:00pm - limo leaves to take BP to RH (making a stop along the way to take some photos at a different location).
6:30pm - would like to be at the RH, take more photos, also early arrival for guests begins
7:00pm - CH begins (toying with extending this another :30mins)
What do you girls think? Do you think I'm forgetting something? Is it nuts that I already have this sorted planned out?

No, I do not think this is nuts at all!!!! I want to be as organized as you!!!!! We haven't booked our church yet, so I've been trying to think of how the day will work too. I think your schedule sounds perfect...I think I'm notebooking this! mmm just one quick ? - will u have your nails/toes done the day before?

Re: Day of Timeline
yes.... my plan for the day before is to go with my mom in the morning to drop off whatever we need to at the RH and then go for a massages and get our nails done (of course this offer is extended to my BMS as well but I am not expecting anyone to take off a day from work for something like that - it's totally up to them). I figure if something happens to my nails between the day before and the day of, the nail salon I go to can easily fix it somewhere between my hair and makeup (my hair salon and nail salon are like in a two block radius of my house).
I actually haven't book my church yet either! Need to get on that, but it's a Saturday wedding and Sat mass doesn't start until 5:30pm so I should be fine. If not than everything gets bumped up 30 nins to an hour.

Looks good, but what about pictures at the church. Are you taking any? Make sure to leave time for that, too! I'd say an hour after the ceremony including receiving line/pics.

Re: Day of Timeline
Well this is my thought. I met with my photographer and he asked me what time I had everything set up for. I told him that my cocktail hour is at six. And at that point, I didnt book the church yet. I asked what he suggested. And he said if I had to choose, not to make it any later then 2:30pm... So i booked my church for 2pm. so then the timeline would look something like this:
12:30pm photographer comes to house and starts taking his pics of bride and bm
1:30pm boys leave for church (they will be upstairs, girls will be downstairs)
1:45pm girls leave for the church
2:00pm ceremony
2:30pm ceremony ends
2:30-3:15pm pictures at church
3:15-4:30pm pictures at offsite location
4:35pm arrive at Villa Lombardis
5:00pm start taking family shots at the RH
and 6pm....READY TO NOT MISS OUR COCKTAIL HOUR!!!! And the partying begins.
The photographer stressed the importance to me of leaving enough time in between the church and reception to take as many pictures as you would want to take. And considering I am a picture freak, I totally agreed. There was no option of missing a minute of our cocktail hour... so now we wont have to! :)
Hope you find that helpful.

Ladies I have been part of weddings and your timelines are perfect, BUT YOU MUST REMENBER TO EAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
even if is alittle something you have to because no one wants a bride with a low sugar level or being hungry during pics and church.

FH and I do not want to miss the cocktail hour.. I have not started any kind of time line yet, but I will use this as a reference because you will be making it to your on time.

aww thanks... thats our plan... it might not be right for everyone... but it works for me. the reason why we booked villas is because of the food and we want to share that with everyone and not miss a thing. plus, it is so much easier for us to say our hellos at cocktail hour... then waste time at the actual reception. but thats just our choice. i love me some good food!! yummm!
oh, and there will be plenty of eating throughout the day - have no fear!! lol
