Day of Timeline (Long post!)

Hi girls. Just figuring out my timeline for the day of the wedding. I am getting married at RH and really don't want to see FH before ceremony. Going to do pics during CH since neither FH or I mind missing it. What do you all think of this schedule?

DAY OF WEDDING SCHEDULE
TBD – Makeup and hair time to be determined

9:30am – First photographer arrives for getting ready pictures at hotel

9:45am – Groom, Groomsmen, Mother of the Groom & Grandmother of the Groom leave for reception hall

10:00am – 10:30am – Second photographer at reception hall. Photographs with groomsmen, mother of the groom, & grandmother.
Required pictures:
•Groom with each groomsmen
•Groom with groomsmen with jackets off and over the shoulder
•Groom with mother
•Groom with grandmother
•Any other pictures as determined by photographer

10:15am – Girls leave for reception hall

10:30am – 11:15am – Photographs with bridesmaids, brides, aunt, & grandmother.
Required pictures:
•Bride and each bridesmaid
•Bride with grandmother
•Bride with aunt
•Bride with flower girls
•Bride with Jr. Bridesmaids
•Bridesmaids lined up with Bride standing forward
•Bridesmaids in a circle around Bride
•Bridesmaids in a circle looking down
•Any other pictures as determined by photographer

11:30am – 12:00pm – Ceremony

12:00pm – 1:30pm – Cocktail Hour for guests
Photographs with bride and groom, bridal party, and family (if time permitting)
Required pictures:
•Bride and Groom on bridge
•Bride and Groom seen through hole in bridge
•Bride and Groom in front of fountain
•Bride and Groom on steps
•Formal picture of Bride and Groom with bridal party
•Bride with groomsmen
•Groom with bridesmaids
•Bridal party jumping
•Bride and Groom alone in reception room
•Any other pictures as determined by photographer

If time permits for family portraits
•Bride and Groom with Groom’s parents
•Bride and Groom with both grandmothers
•Bride and Groom with aunt and grandmother
•Bride and Groom with Groom’s sister & Bride’s brother

1:45pm – Grand entrance. Reception begins.

1:45 – 5:30pm – Reception

* If family portraits were not able to be taken during the cocktail hour because of time, then the remainder can be done during the salad portion of dinner. The Maid of Honor will take out the appropriate people for portraits.

this is great! i have the almost the same exact timeline- were having a day wedding with the ceremony at the RH and dont want to see each other beforehand either! looks good

I think your cutting it too close. I am getting married at the same time and my hair and makeup is going to be done by 8-8:30 and leave the hotel and be at the RH by 9:00AM and take pics until about 10:30 then we are doing our tea ceremony from 10:30-10:45 and I will be done and ready by 11:15AM for the 11:30 ceremony start.

And as I typed this I see that you are not taking pics with fh until the ch so you do have enough time..I would have the photographer come to you earlier and finish up your pics by 11AM to give yourself some time to relax.

I think its fine except for the taking pics during the reception part of the day. I advise against this and to everything you possibly can to get them in during another time. the reception goes extremely fast as it is. If you are out of the room for a portion of the time you will be missed.....guest will be looking around for you. I think I was dancing during my app and salad.

The only thing I would say is it seems that you have everything Jam packed. GOOD jam packed, but just packed.

Dont get SO carried away with pictures that you miss your party.

We spend so much time planning and crying and yelling and anticipating that sometimes we miss parts of the party. I would HATE for you to miss that.
