Is anyone getting ready at home vs. hotel? I didn't even think of getting ready at a hotel the day of but after reading so many posts it seems that's the norm... Anyone getting ready at home?

I will not be living at home with my family anymore come the time of the wedding, but I will be getting ready by my parents house

i am getting ready at home. I can't wait!!! I love my new house I couldn't imagine trying to get ready somewhere else. I have everything I need here.

Fh and I are getting ready at Hyatt Regency. I'm having my own suite and he'll be in his parent's suite.

I'm getting ready at home. My parents still live in the house i grew up in, so i can't wait to take pictures there!
same here! I think for me this is the only way it will seem right!! I'm just imagining the pictures at my parents house and it seems appropriate....I really don't think I would be happy getting ready at a hotel, but that's just me. FH is getting ready at the hotel though!
ETS: I don't live with my parents, FH and I actually don't live on LI....so it's not technically my home now, just my childhood home where my parents still live!
