Does anyone have a rough estimate of what the difference between the two are for the same date? I am most likely going to do a night wedding (Church is around 2) but then I was thinking that maybe I can do a day wedding with a civil ceremony at the RH and we can do the Church later. I guess I like the idea of a day wedding..it's less pricey and it works out great for a Sunday b/c it's over by 5. But then again I also like idea of having the Church and the reception on the same day...Not to mention having pictures of the Church ceremony. I'm only going to have 100 people at my wedding so if the difference is $10 a head, I don't think it's worth it to save $1000.

our price difference between a day and night was about $45 ... sooo we went with the day wedding

For me it was $50 more for a night vs. day. It also depends on the venue.

My RH's price difference was I think $20 but I also was only looking at Friday nights so they are cheaper to begin with the saturday days or nights. I personally dont really like day weddings. Esp with my not being a morning person I would dread getting up at 5am to start getting ready for church at 11ish

I originally had a night wedding scheduled at VYC....but then when I was booking the photographer, I realized I wanted more pics with daylight......plus I was afraid of not making sunset on the water.....so we switched to the day wedding.
We saved $15 pp which was great; plus now I will have daylight pics and we will get to have pics of the sunset!
It really should depend on what you want and your budget as well.

At my RH the difference is like $10 also. I automatically picked day because i knew from before it was cheaper than a night wedding.

The difference between a Saturday day and a Saturday night wedding was between $10-$15 per person cheaper. A Sunday day wedding was like $5 cheaper than that.

The difference for our RH was $85 less for a Sat. afternoon vs evening and only $10 less for a Sunday afternoon vs evening...but the difference between a Sat. night and a Sunday night was $75/ person.
