We sent out hotel info. with our invitations for our day wedding. Should FH and I change and hang out at the hotel bar? I always pictured going back to the bridal suite with FH in my wedding dress, but I don't know if I should keep my dress on all night while hanging out with everyone at the hotel. Can anyone else tell me their plans? TIA!

we are having an eveneing wedding but the bar at the hotel is staying open for our guests afterwards. FH and I plan on going back to the hotel and hanging out with our guests for a while. I am planning on staying in my dress.

i would just hang out in my wedding dress.... im paying so much for it, i may as well wear it as long as i can! if you are uncomfortable though then change

we are going to go bowling after our day wedding at 6. I will stay in my dress for that.
After bowling FH and I will go back to suite for a while
but im sure we will go back down to hotel bar to hang out too. I will probably get a cute outfit at that point to change into.

That's pretty awesome. Thanks for the advice, everyone. I guess I will just hang out in my dress for a while at the hotel, and then FH and I will go back to the suite.

I changed as soon as we got back and then hung out for a little at the bar. It was so late and everyone was very exhausted, so it was not much of an after party. we were kind of disappointed in that. We had my daughter with us, so we reserved our time for the HM

I think if you are staying at the same hotel as your guests its important to show your face and hangout for a bit. Then you can spend the rest of teh night alone.
Dh and I went up to the room for about fifteen minutes and exchanged gifts then got changed and joined our guests for about 3 hrs.

We are having a night wedding which will end at 1230 but we are going to have the hotel keep the bar opened for us for a few if they can. we are going next week to block rooms and talk to them about the bar and stuff.
and yes we will hangout with our guests for a bit...

My wedding is over at 5 and my parents wanted to host an after party since they live in the same town as my rh. I am thinking about getting a cute white dress for that, though I have a feeling I wont be changing right away.
