what did you do?

honestly after my RD - i think all i have planned for fri is nails - is this right? what am i missing??

get ring cleaned

BM lunch
nails
last minute organization
become violently ill
checked into hotel
was forced by MOH to eat a bag of pretzels, since I hadn't eaten all day
finished making programs

have fun with that LOL

I also got pulled over by a State Trooper for talking on my phone. That I don't recommend.

my rd is 11/10 (friday) and that day i'm getting my nails done, picking up my dress and getting my hair blown out for the rehearsal dinner.

i don't know what i'm doing thursday yet, but i'm sure something will come up!!

The night before my dh went to get some stripper boobies in his face.

I just chilled out with my girls. Drank some Corona's, etc. Oh and I got my nails did too.

I spent the day of (wedding wasn't until 6pm) by myself. I got my eyebrows threaded, took a long shower, listened to my iPod. Felt crazy cause no one wanted me to do anything! I wanted to help but no one would let me. I just zoned out and relaxed. I am glad I had that time.

Everything starts to move so fast once the day gets going - I really recommend as much 'you time' as possible.

I got sick, ran myself ragged running all over LI to pick up dresses/drop off payments/finalize random crap with the hotel.
Then I took a long, long nap.
Got the nails done.
Took a teaspoon of nyquil the night before to ensure optimum sleep time.

I'm sure that you've got it all covered. Do as much as you can this weekend though. It'll help you enjoy as much of the 'holy sh1t, I'm getting married' excitement.

Considering I got violently ill the day of my RD (Wed 3/29), the day before my wedding, I laid around on the couch & tried to recoup....Spent time with my brother, SIL & nephew.....Picked up my dress in the PM. Dropped some items off at my house when DH was working...Went to get my nails done with all my BM's that night!!!!

Just relax as much as you can!

I came down with the flu...Had nothing to do with nerves....It was the worst considering I was still sick at my wedding..

Good point, I got my ring cleaned that night & placed it in the box & didn't put it back on til we left for church

between RD and wedding:

Confirmed any last vendors that needed to be confirmed
Packed for HM
Got nails done
Picked up dress
Bugged all my BMs to make sure they showed up on time
Dropped off car at hotel we would be staying night of wedding (with overnight bag in trunk)
Set out all my stuff (earrings, garter, jewelry so I wouldn't forget it)
Put final payments in envelopes (got certified checks for band and other big ones)
Got ring cleaned
Gave DH marriage license and rings and told him he better not forget them (hah!)

Oh so much fun! I wish I could go back

Ran errands for other people - ***??
Got my nails done
Took 1/2 Xanax

Woke up on the 18th feeling like the luckiest gal alive!!

I blame in the subway (I'd taken it for the first time in weeks to get to Penn). The adrenaline killed off whatever illness remained though.

Well I'm a procrastinator so I spent
-Thursday before tying ribbons on bubbles and finishing favors (in addition to dropping stuff off at RH, dropping off OOT bags, wrapping BP gifts, getting E-ring cleaned and still trying to find earrings)
-Friday before printing and tying ribbons on programs (and getting a mani/pedi w/ my mom, getting my dress steamed (it got wrinkled brigning it up to NY from VA) getting last minute stuff for the 'after party' at my mom's house and having Rehearsal/RD)

I REALLY wish I had all the big stuff done so I could have relaxed more so actually, I think you've got the right idea

I was running around like crazy my last day. However getting your nails done, great idea! Just make sure you make an appointment at a respectable place, because fridays are usually very busy.

The day before mine, I went to pick up my dress and to lunch with my family from Florida. I had everything else done already. In the late afternoon I went to SIL's for a bbq and headed over to my mother's around 9pm....i think i was asleep by 10:30.

It was a pretty non stressful day!

I am not there yet, but what I hope to be doing the day before the wedding is getting my mani and pedi, and then just relaxing with family. My aunt and uncle will be in from Florida, so maybe we will go out to dinner with them. Well see. But whatever I do, I hope I am sleeping by 10pm!
