honestly after my RD - i think all i have planned for fri is nails - is this right? what am i missing??

Hey.. getting married the same day as you. All I have planned is a brunch with the Bridesmaids and Mani/Pedi's afterwards. Then I'm just completely chillin' out!

I took the entire week off before my wedding (I live in Dallas, so it was practically a requirement!)

On Friday:
Mani & pedi
Picked up tuxes
Bought printer for OOT box letter
Brought OOT boxes to front desk of hotel
Bought a shirt for bachelorette party
Went to b-party!

On Saturday:
Went to beach house for bridal shower
Went shopping with my mom for a strapless bra for her dress
Had ring cleaned
Bought last minute gift certificate for BM
Went back to hotel
Went to rehearsal dinner
Moved everything to 'getting ready' suite for the next morning
Had pillow talk with my sister before we finally fell asleep

On Sunday:
GOT MARRIED!!

cried. a lot.
his parents moved the day after our wedding
so weds all i did was cry
ran to leonards to drop off ****
i did that thursday too-

The RD was friday- we did a lot of running around all day

got our nails done, packed for the honeymoon
went to pick up the cake in sayville.

saturday, packed more for honeymoon, then went to get a massage
then went to the beach (Beach we got married on)
Put the arch together and prepped the beach- raked it an what not.

Sunday- GOT MARRIEDDDDDDDDD

oh- and i cried a lot
and we fought up and till we went in for our massage.

besides stress out about my gown- (due to a horrible salon)
I got my nails done, pedicure, also my mom and i went to get a body wrap and massage, I got a facial a week before, relaxed!

relaxed. got my nails done with my BMs, went to the mall. had RD dinner. thats about it.

ditto for me! If it wasn't done at that point...I did not do it or even think about it!

Let's see. Today, I had a massage and collagen mask. Tomorrow, I have a nail appointment and...that's about it. Sounds right to me! I think after so many weekends of having stuff to do all the time, it's weird to NOT have anything major to do. Just relax and enjoy!!!!

I pretty much finished up everything prior to the final week. When my dad and step-mom and my brother and his family got into town I spent some quality time with them. Though there were plenty of 'confirmation' phone calls with vendors, my phone was constantly ringing!

I had a half-day of work on Thursday, which is when I wrote my LIW sign-off!! After leaving work I went to my DJ to pick up our CDs that were part of the BP gifts. Then I got to pick up my dress!!! DH decided to leave work early too, so after he got home and we ate dinner we brought everything over to the RH.

The day before the wedding was a lil more hectic. First, I got a mani/pedi with my mom. Then we went to the bank to transfer $$. Then we met up with my MOH and 1 BM and we picked up their dresses and my mom's dress. Then we had lunch. I took my MOH back to my apartment and she helped me finish packing for the HM. When we got back to my mom's I put together the favor bags for the kids (only about 6). Then we all went over to the RH for our rehearsal and decorated the arch outside for the ceremony. Afterwards DH and I stuck around to pay the final balance, and then back to my mom's for the RD.

It was a hectic time but I loved every minute, wish I could do it all over again!!!

Got an inspection and an oil change on my truck. DH yelled at me for days about that one.
Dropped off final payment and things at Westbury Manor.
Mani/Pedi with my girls
Rehearsal Dinner
Came home and cleaned my room so that the photographer could take some pics in my room.

ETA: Called DH at 11:50PM to tell him that I loved him and I couldn't wait for the morning!

Wedding was Saturday:

my advice to you .....

get everything done that you will need for day of....

I packed a bag for the hotel the night of...
I packed for my honeymoon....
I got all of my stuff in order...hoisery, jewelry etc...

I made an extensive list of what needed to be done. I was more stressed because i was leaving on my HM the next day and I felt like I had to prepare for two things...which made me very overwhelmed.....

My biggest help was and it may sound crazy...but i designated a door in my apt. (closet door) to be my message board...everything i had to get done i wrote down on a post-it and stuck on the door..when i completed it i took it off and threw it away...for some reason that helped me.....

ENJOY EVERY SECOND>>>It will be here before you blink an eye!!!!

DH and i wanted to be traditional and not see each other the day before the wedding so i spent the entire day with my sisters! we made drinks and decorated the front of my parents house...we were laughing so hard and had such a good time! it's just what i needed to break my tension and stress!!!
