Does any one have any experience with David's Bridal? I feel like no one gets their dress there!

I hated the woman who helped me. I walked out on them. Another time I did have a helpful woman but their dresses are such low quality I'd never buy it there.

i went there and it was nice that you were actually able to try on your size and not have to be all clipped in. they also had petite dresses which i was happy about. my consultant was very nice and patient but did not seem all that knowledgeable. she pulled everything i asked for but i wasn't able to really just tell her my style and have her pick out what she would recommend. the quality was a little lower (i had on navy blue underwear and you could see it when i tried on one dress!) but there were some nicer dresses. i think its a least worth checking out.

I got my dress from DB. I actually set up the appointment at a bridal showcase just to try on dresses for fun because I thought it was too early at the time to be dress shopping. The consultant I worked with was great. All the dresses he chose for me were nice and went well with my body shape. I ended up buying my dress from DB. It's part of the Vera Wang collection. I would say give it a try they do have nice dresses it all depends on what you are looking for.

Only bm dresses. I got them there bc it was most convenient and I wanted something very, very simple. But I wasn't wowed with the selection either and the consultant was useless...we pulled everything ourselves.

My SIL got her dress there and was very happy with it. However, she wanted something very basic and price was the utmost concern to her. If you're looking for something with a little more detailing and have a larger dress budget, you may be better off elsewhere.Whatever you do, if you do buy the dress there, get it altered SOMEWHERE ELSE. They completely ruined her dress and a week before the wedding told her they couldn't possibly fix it. (The hem in the front was above her ankles in flats!) Miraculously, my mother found a seamstress in a dry cleaners who was able to fix it in time and for a great price.
We got our BM dresses there for her wedding and they were fine, but their color palate is limited, so I didn't even look there for my BMs.

My cousin got her dress there. I looked but didn't see anything I liked. However I did get my bm dresses there, in wisteria and ordered matching wisteria invitations from there.

I did try on dresses there and my consultant was very nice and knowledgable. I almost got an Oleg Cassini dress but for the price of that dress I felt I needed to look around more and then I found my Maggie dress! My bridesmaids did go and try dresses on there too. We decided to try a few other places before deciding but then DB was having a really good online sale so they just ordered them.

I think like most large chain stores the experience can vary greatly depending on who you get and when you go. I went to David's first just because it's easy to see what they have and pick out a variety of different types of dresses to try on. I went in with a list of about 10 that I wanted to try, which were all different shapes and styles. My consultant was very young and clearly a little inexperienced, but she was very nice and patient with us. She also had other clearly more experienced employees coming over and giving her advice on things to pull for me, which is how I found THE DRESS. I fell in love with one of the Vera Wang White dresses. However, after I got my dress that was all the interaction I had with David's Bridal, because based on reviews on here, I decided to take it to an independent tailor for alterations.Welcome New Vendors
