DC is closed down but I have to work

So...pretty much most of DC offices/businesses are closed for the inauguration today. But i am working. It stinks. FH is off enjoying his day while I slave away at work.

Ok i lied. I am checking email, this site and doing a whole lot of nothing. But wish I were home with him!!!!!

Just had to vent :(

I wouldn't mind cause I know its not a real holiday..but literally the streets here are bare (in georgetown anyway!) and businesses have all closed. oh well...

At least I get quality LIW time :)

This is the first time in a while actually I've been able to even be on! Very exciting. So maybe its a GOOD thing that i am working but its quiet...

I can almost see Bush parading down the street as we speak! lol...

I was just joking about being able to see the prez. I wish! Well..maybe i don't wish, haha...

There was a van outside the white house last night with a guy threatening to blow up the white house. I'm sure you all heard about it...crazy stuff going on here! I MISS NY!!!
