DCbride-re: Westbury Manor flowers

Hi DCbride-I noticed your response to a question about flowers, and just wanted to make a separate post so that you'd see it! We are getting married at the Westbury Manor too-this coming November (sooo excited!!). While the banquet manager did give us a list of their 'recommended' vendors, we do not need to use them.

The recommended florists (like Simply Elegant) did give us quotes with xx% off of the centerpieces for being a Scotto Bros. wedding.

I'm not sure if things have changed since we booked...but I'd call them and express your concerns. You really should have the opportunity to shop around and decide for yourself!!!

We bookedthis spring and we were verbally told a number of times that we had touse one of their florists and on the contract in the column that they check off the services included in the bottom is a note that says
**HOUSE FLORISTS TO BE USE ON OUR PREMISES ONLY
