De Seversky Winter Wedding

Trying to select the venue...but it's so hard! Wondering if anyone has had or been to a De Seversky wedding in the winter. I love the location and just wanted some feedback on how it went

I have not been to an affair there during the winter, but I was there to take E-Pics during December and also to book it (I am getting married there 5/30/10). The place looked GORGEOUS set up for the holidays! Not sure how it looked after the holidays though...

Completely agree with MayBride. We visited De Seversky in mid December and it was beautiful with Christmas trees and decorations. I am totally biased I am getting married there may 23, 2010 but I think it's gorgeous. So far I have not been able to see it in the sun, it's always rained when I visited and it still looked amazing!

i have also been there in the winter for an event during Christmas time. It was snowing that day and the place looked so beautiful. All the trees looked beautiful with the snow on them. I would think it still is nice in January but the only thing is it won't have the decorations as everyone else said, and those trees in the front obviously will not be in bloom. I think that is the only difference between winter and summer. It seems like they keep the place well maintained despite the snow conditions.

I was there in the winter too, the first time we went to look at the place. It was covered all in snow. Looked gorgeous!!! Good Luck!!

Thanks! I just found out the fireplaces don't work which bums me out...I liked the idea for a winter wedding. The place is gorgeous though!
