Dear Lady Standing behind me in line at Starbucks,

Yes I know Starbuck's coffees and teas are delightful (why else would I be here everyday despite the $4 per cup price?), but standing as close as humanly possible behind me in line does NOT make the line move any faster. Have you heard of personal space? Indeed, your intrusion into my personal space has frazzled me enough to make me order slower, so really the whole uncomfortable situation was unfortunately (for you and ME!) quite counterproductive.

I wasn't even taking long - I was second in line waiting for the guy in front of me to order!

i also hate when they begin to push you out of the way when your done but still standing up @ the counter (putting your money away - or grabbing some xtra napkins or something) - is waiting the xtra 30 seconds going to kill you?????????????????/

Customers at Starbucks would be dropping like flies - cause I know some people take a REALLY long time to order. Mostly the newbie customers who are frazzled and confused by the sizing system (all I want is a large! What is a venti?). I remember those days (the first drink I ordered was a caramel macchiato - which I butchered shamlessly when pronouncing and the person working giggled at my expense!)

haha..i don't drink coffee ever...but FMIL does and she was at our apt one day and i could tell she needed a cup...so i went to the starbucks and i swear i looked at the kid and said: Look, I don't drink coffee and I'm not going to drink whatever you give me...but I want the largest cup of normal or the closest thing to it coffee you have. She looked at me stunned and then proceeded to make ma large cup of coffee. i know they had to think i was an idiot...but i didn't need a lesson on how to order b/c i was never going back.

They do it at the bank too, I'm standing there and they keep inching up, like that's going to make the tellers move any faster!!!!! I want to get out of here too but if you don't lay-off I'm going to have to make a deposit of my foot into your @ss!!!!!

But the best is when I was at the pharmacy the other day, I was waiting for the pharmacist to finish with another customer when this other woman comes over, so instead of getting in line BEHIND me she stands there NEXT to me!! I'm like 'she thinks she's going ahead of me' and sure enough when the pharmicist said 'next' I made sure to step forward first, of course this b*tch also tried it (like I knew she would) but I was faster and besides we all knew I was there first. But I just couldn't believe it, did she think I was stupid???? I know how a line works!!!!!!! I'm a nice, sweet girl but I'm not a push-over!!!!

uughhh....cindy that makes me want to slap people when they do that!!!

a month ago we were in home depot - and the one i was in does the 'pretend to check the receipt against the items in your cart' - well this was right after we bought the co-op and i believe we purchased almost $400 worth of stuff - so when we were approaching the exit - we let a few people infront of us because we knew we would be awhile - but once we got to the front - that was it - we want to leave too.
well this WACKO lady takes her cart and proceeds to begin to play bumping cars w/ matty trying to get infront of us. so matt is not moving our cart and is like ramming the side of hers... the 2 of them do not say a word - they are just bumping the sides of the carts. its my FH and this middle aged housewife in a total war over who was getting infront. so finally - i realize what this one is doing and open my big mouth ' ARE YOU KIDDING ME???'' - i yelled right @ her - and mind you i was in no mood - so i am grateful she just backed down and let us infront. lord knows how this story would have ended if she would have responded to me...

yup and then they GLARE at you!!! the nerve...honestly, the morons in public sometimes make me want to live ina bubble.

I do the slight body swing, so every time I move, my elbow goes into the person behind me, or I 'accidently' hit them with my purse. Then I heave a heavy sign and just give them a look.
