Dear friend who is being secretive about your wedding details

RELAX!

My wedding is in a MONTH, yours is in 4 months. My vendors have been booked for AGES. I'm not going to steal anything from you. When I asked what your wedding colors were a few months ago, my super purple invitations and BM dresses had already been ordered and my CPS had been picked out. I was just trying to order you a channa plaque. Now you're stuck with the colors *I* picked for you. I've been engaged for SEVEN YEARS. I don't need to steal your ideas.

I already ordered it. She's stuck!

I originally asked her to be in my BP, but she had just gotten engaged and said she'd have to get back to me. She NEVER DID . Then at my shower she said she was going to ask me but figured it was going to be too much stress for me bc of my wedding, and that her FH had told her to make sure she told me that so I didn't get offended.

Yeah, it's weird. I'll ask her about the wedding just because we're both going through the same thing in planning, so I figured we could compare notes and help each other or whatever, just shoot the ish, but she is really secretive.

It's weird because the ONLY people who would be at both weddings would be a handful of college friends. Like literally 3 couples. So I don't understand why she seems to think it's a competition.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

I don't like to give people details either, but I thought we could have conversations like
'I'm having trouble with my must-play list'

or 'OMG the search for favors is killing me!'

I guess that's what my LIW girls are for!!!!!!
