RELAX!

My wedding is in a MONTH, yours is in 4 months. My vendors have been booked for AGES. I'm not going to steal anything from you. When I asked what your wedding colors were a few months ago, my super purple invitations and BM dresses had already been ordered and my CPS had been picked out. I was just trying to order you a channa plaque. Now you're stuck with the colors *I* picked for you. I've been engaged for SEVEN YEARS. I don't need to steal your ideas.

OMG I could so relate. I have a similar situation with a girl getting married later this year. Everytime I ask her something about the wedding it's like 'oh I don't remember where I got this' or 'I don't know....' Seriously my wedding is in JULY I am not trying to steal ideas from you.

A friend of mine is the same way. At first I was really annoyed since she's in my weddding and we are very good friends but later on she explained her FH wants everything to be a surprise. He knows how she is and knows nothing is ever a secret.

Maybe its the same type of situation

the whole secretive thing in regards to wedding plans is so bizarre to me. 2 of my good friends are engaged, with one getting married just weeks after me and we all talk about our weddings all the time. its fun and no ones concerned about anyone stealing ideas from each other. in fact when we see something online we know the other might like we email it to each other. me and my good friend are both having fall weddings so im sure we will have very similar colors and flowers and im sure i will care less when i see her centerpieces if she has the same shade of roses i used.
