Dear Guests,

Please send back your response cards! I sent my invitations out over a month ago and when I call to ask if you are coming please don't tell me 'you'll get back to me' or ask 'why am i getting married on thannksgiving weekend?' if you feel that way, please don't come you stupid @$$.

Better yet I had one person say yes and then call and leave a message on my machine that they are not comig now! NO EXPLANATION!

one of my guests did that...... 4 weeks after my RSVP deadline and the day after I gave the ifnal count to the RH.
Thankfully they let me revise the count.

I have to tell you, planning the wedding was been great, I haven't had any headaches, bridezilla moments,the FIL's are awesome, but these rsvp's are driving me crazy!

i thought of another pathetic excuse...
one of FHs friends claims he didnt respond because
A. he wasnt sure if 'adult reception' included infants
and
B. we put 'black tie optional because we have a few classless people attending who would show up dressed totally inappropriately (again, FHs friends/family)
anyway the same guy said he didnt know what that meant - hello?? did you ever hear of this thing called GOOGLE!

We are going through the same thing. We purposely sent out a save the date so they knew that the wedding was Thanksgiving weekend. Now we hear 'oh, I don't know if I can get off work' or 'don't know if I can get a flight'. Why didn't you look into this months ago?!?!?!

i really thing that the RSVP thing was the biggest drama-rama of the entire wedding planning deal. Though in the long run we ended up with some ridiculously funny stories (well, they will be funny to me in like 2 years)
