Dear Hallmark

Dear Hallmark

Sweetest Day, National Boss Day, St. Patrick's Day and Halloween are not 'holidays' and don't require cards. Stop making them; you make enough money off of Valentine's Day.

Best,
Mel

It kind of is, except it's in August (I think). I don't know, maybe it's Valentine's Day Part II for anyone who screwed up the first time???

As much as I dislike V-Day and make no acknowledgement of it...it's really 'love and friendship' day or at least it is Spanish (not sure if it's celebrated differently in the US). So it would make sense that they would have cards for family, etc. Plus, they could make more money that way!! LOL
Growing up I was totally into the day of 'love and friendship' and couldn't wait to get to school and give all my friends cards and my family would exchange presents (yes, even with my brother!). Yes, I was a former Hallmark slave!

Re: Dear Hallmark

well with the exception of Sweetest Day, & Boss Day, I like those cards.

I like to give my God-baby-girl a Halloween Card, I give my family friend a St. Patty's Day one (running joke, they give us Columbus Day card) I guess I am in the minority, I love to give or make cards!

You know in the card shops here, they have a special 'American section' where you can find these types of cards

Same here! I just love cards, I'm such a dork - it usually takes me hours to try and pick out the 'right' one - (well, St. Patty's my choices tend to be rather limited, so, I usually take what I can get. )
I send my neices one's for Halloween, Valentine's Day, St. Patty's. I just think it's fun.

I am 'Ideologically opposed' to Sweetest Day but not Sweetest Day cards.

My name is Wendy and I have a greeting card addiction and I am 'Ideologically opposed' to rehab for it.
