My Dear Lady's;

I have not been on because I am home with my sick son (he has Lyme's for over a year and is not doing very well right now). I have had some others monitoring the boards for me. Apparently there has been some turmoil. When I return to the office tomorrow I will go through everything. Those who have used these boards improperly (on both sites) and have decided to express themselves with vulgar language will have their accounts removed. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Sorry to hear about your son a really good friend of mine has the same thing you can FM me if you need more info. My prayers for your son and your family

Once again... the 'same' people (who will recognize themselves without being named) are saying how unappropriate the comment was... blah blah...

Always coming out like a fresh flower yet out of every drama threads... Those same people who don't want drama are always attacking everyone, ganging up against one person, turning other people's thread into a total joke, both on LIW and LIF, yet actually posting in this very thread. How ironic! Apparently only their opinion is free. But don't you dare posting yours. Only THEIR jokes are funny, but not yours.. or you are a wacko or something like that.

How funny! They are not part of the drama, right???

exactly!

You understood that ?

Yup - I always understand my little french girl!!!

and btw - its 'moot' point- not 'mute' point... trust me, you'll thank me for that one....

Ron,

I am sooo sorry about your son. I hope he gets better real soon!!! :

To the rest of you ladies..... I really think it's sad that you have to go back and forth with this petty BS like children.... hopefully Ron's post about his son will give you all a wake up call and maybe some of you will realize that there is more to life than arguing back and forth over something so stupid. I have read some of these threads over the past few days and just sit here shaking my head at how immature some of you can be.

Ok I'm done. Have a nice night
:

OMG - I was about to say the same thing!

Ron and family....

I didn't read what happened or what was said, as I am studying for my bar exam and am hardly on here anymore, but I would just like to urge that people's user accounts are viewed at in totality and not just a few vulgarities here and there.

Cherese ALWAYS helped everyone on these boards not only with her answers and responses but with her posts.
I remember one time as an example where she posted lists for every type of marriage ceremony (for different religions, races, etc).

She added so much to these boards, so to delete her account is simply silly in terms of what this site is for, and seems unfair!

Re: Dearest Ron...

Oh boy! So I went through everything as best I can (that is my way of saying I did not read everything). Yes I now have a migraine. Here's my synopsis. A bride makes a post asking, 'BP & Tattoos: What is you opinion on how they look in pictures? IMO: I do not like see Bms when they are dressed up showing tattoos on their arms- I think it takes away from 'the look'. What do u think?'. No big deal, someone asking for an opinion about tats and how others feel they look in photos. There are some replies on this thread that range from 'I'm not that crazy with them being visible' to 'To each it's own' and ' I think it's tacky and gross' beside many others. The original poster was asking for others opinions. This is what she received - other peoples opinions. Here is what I think - yes this is now my opinion - someone once said opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one and most of them stink! The ones that stink are the opinions that do not agree with our thoughts. Well, if it is an honest opinion and if it's an opinion that was being asked for then why the big deal about them? Here's why! The experts say that communication is only 7% words. The rest is a combination of tonality, body positioning, etc. Thus the statement - it's not what you say but how you say it is very true! Agreed? The problem on a message board is you can not see body positioning or tonality. You may think you know the tone by the words but that is impossible because words are only 7% of the communication. So some may take what is typed out of context. Has this ever happened to you? I bet it has! And it is my sincere belief that this is part of what happened in this case. The other part has me completely perplexed. Why on earth anyone would think that there is or has to be a rivalry between LIW and LIF is way beyond me. Especially when it was the general population of newlyweds on LIW that asked for LIF. Why there would ever be cross posting between the sites with the intent to make fun of or provoke another is ludicrous, isn't it? LIF was established for families. And yes a family is made up of at least two people. You do not have to have or be planning to have children to be a member of LIF. LIW and LIF are there for people to have a forum by which they can communicate and HELP each other. Not to tear anyone down, make fun of anyone or provoke another. So, here's what we are going to do. First, at this time a joint BBQ seems like a joke thus we are postponing it as of now. Those who have registered, your credit cards have not been charged. Second, I am restoring the banned brides account. Third, if ever anyone feels the need to provoke anyone or use obscenities in a way to demean another member on either site their account will be removed. We are all living in a stressful period of time and dealing with the stress of a wedding etc. LIW and LIF was founded for the purpose of people helping one another and building one another up in addition to helping with the wedding process on LIW and the beginning of a new family on LIF. Lets keep to that objective and we will all be successful in all our endeavors. I thank you for your understanding and support.
