I ordered my gown in September, should be in by mid February. I paid with a transferable deposit, just in case I changed my mind...since it was early. I fell in love with my gown, so I decided to order it, plus I wanted to see it in silver and white (only had purple and white, another reason I used a transferable deposit, just in case I didn't like the silver and white). But anyways, the gown has organza overlay and flower detail. I'm thinking maybe I should have gone more traditional with a satin gown. I like the detail...but now I think the flowers may be to large and not as formal as I want it....but I do still really like the gown, but I don't know if it's what I want to wear for my wedding...if you know what I mean. I think it's a very pretty gown but now I wish I would have got a more elegant and traditonal gown. I have other maggie's in mind that I like....but I am going to try on the gown when it comes in and see how it looks. It's a very summery type dress, which I liked too because I'm getting married in June....But I don't know..having doubts....
i think it's gorgeous and you made an excellent choice!! and that was soooooooooooooo smart doing a transferable deposit!!

and that was a smart move! i personally want a traditional dress - so i would have to say traditional dress...

They're both beautiful, but I like the second one better. Go with what you're feeling though. If you like the first one better then who cares if it's not 'traditional'.

ugh..I'm torn!!! LOL....I like the one I bought but I think I want to look more elegant...I feel like the one I bought it more casual kinda..if ya know what I mean, I think it's the organze that makes me think this. I saw the one I bought in a magazine the other day and I didn't like it too much in the pic...that's what got me thinking about my dress....I know it's really pretty on, but I just don't know if I want to get a satin gown.

Just wanted to share with you girls....
If you're having doubts, then I think you need to explore and look for other dresses. I would do satin as well, I am not crazy about tulle or organza. I think once you find 'the dress' you won't have any doubts! Smart girl w/ the transferable deposit!!! XOXOXOXO Kitty

I think its beautiful. I had a similar problem, I found a gown I loved, I put a deposit on it, then I found one I REALLY LOVED! I couldn't stop going to the site and looking at it. I made the decision to call my bridal shop to see if they had it, they did, I went and tried it on,(did not want to take it off), and Switched my deposit over. I think you should go try it on again, if you still feel like this, switch it. You will feel so much better knowing that you are 100% happy. HTH
