December 2013 venue

My sister would like to get married at the end of December 2013. She and her FH are still students (out of state) and are paying for everything themselves. Any ideas of some venues that she might get a good rate at? She is looking for a Saturday afternoon (twilight would be even better if you girls know of any). Any thoughts (or if you know of pricing) would be much appreciated!!

Not sure how much she is looking to pay per person but I am getting married in Dec @ The Inn which I thought was pretty resonable for such a gorgeous place!

the riviera in massapequa- i think it hold about 175 max reasonable and beautiful

Fm me I have prices for 12/28/13 sat night at fox hollow in the new Somerley room cheap and I know what they'll throw in. We changed our venue at the last minute and I know the room is still available.

They can try Leonard's of Great Neck, which has changed their name to Palazzo 555. They have many menus you can pick from depending on the food you want served.I know Sunday weddings start early now, 4, 5 and end early too. You can also try Crest Hollow and Westbury Manor. Again I don't know what she wants to spend but its a starting point. Good Luck!

WM is more expensive in December then October bc of the decor and demand for holiday parties.

Try Sunset Harbor. Even with their top package she wont touch $75pp. Its beautiful. Right on the water and all. Ask for Andy or Gina!

Someone posted last week about their date opening up at sand castle for december 2013. That may be a way to work out a great deal.

You can try Ariana Waterfalls, Meditteranean Manor and Stuart Thomas Manor, they have all inclusive packages and it is VERY affordable!

i had a friend get married a number of years ago at the Milridge Inn sometime in between christmas and new years. it looked rather affordable and the decor was gorgeous!
