December Brides CHECKLIST- 3 1/2-4 MONTHS LEFT!!!!!

WOW....I can't believe we have either 7 1/2 months or less. We are almost all at our 6 month mark!!! It has gone soooo fast since our 1 year mark.

Nicole- yours comes sooo soon....only 3 more days and you are at your 6 month mark!!!

ok...so I thought I would start this to see what we all have done so far and what else we need to do. I am sure we all still have a good amount, I know I do haha

I love that you started a checklist for us Dec. girls.

So far I've:
-booked all major vendors
-bought most ceremony accessories(fg basket, rb pillow, unity candle)
-bought cake-topper and guestbook for reception
-picked bridal shower favors and bought part of it(was a bad bride that way, but BP took it well, i've since let go of all shower activities)
-bought my dress, viel, tiara
-FH bought my DOJ
-ordered invitations


Still have to do:
-picked wedding favors, but have not ordered yet
-chose BM dresses but haven't had girls order yet
-need to start working on RD, since I'll be competing with X-mas parties.
-need to find something blue, something old and something borrowed
-go with FH for Tux selection
-need to buy Lasso for ceremony (incorporating this latino tradition into my ceremony)
-need to meet with pastor of church for pre-marital counseling and to set-up ceremony.
-need to get memorial candle


I'm sure there's stuff i've forgotten on both lists.

I usually follow the check list on the Knot and check off from there. I figure that will keep me on track. Lately I've been a lazy bride though, after booking all major vendors I've been on somewhat of a planning break. I did manage to order a lot online...but still feel like I'm a slacker bride.

i am so happy to finally be at 6 months (well technically not for another two days or so but its a great feeling knowing that next month will be 5 months, then 4, and then by 3 months im sure we will be so busy that the rest will just fly by - its finally starting to feel within reach)

i have NO IDEA what im doing for placecards - at first i wanted to do something different like a placecard christmas tree type thing but i may end up just doing the regular folded placecards - things are already getting to hectic and expensive i did see some really cute placecard holders that were like a plain round ornament but i just dont want to spend the money....i dont know what to do for favors either....maybe christmas ornaments

For place cards I'm doing the regular tent card and maybe putting a rhinestone embelishment or something like that...haven't completely decided yet. As for favors I was only going to do an truffle quad, but then decided to do a beaded snowflake ornament and a double truffle box. Only the packaging for the favors will have a tag with our name and date but the ornament and truffle box will not have it.

As for tble numbers I'm just going with what JT provides. You're so good that you are doing the #'s. Love your idea. I think between you and Nicole you guys got all the christmas words...i can't even think of anymore

and the placecards- i might just do regular folded ones as well haha and have my aunt put the names in calligraphy things are getting too expensive already haha

I have to add in my other ideas into my album,, but I have limited access to certain sites at work and I forget by the time I get home.

I have one cake idea in my album but there are some others i saw on the knot that I loved also, one of them looks like a big X-mas gift with a big red bow on top.
