We finally decided on our wedding date We were originally planning for September when we were having our wedding here....but now that we've decided on Jamaica it requires us to change our date. September is during hurricane season in Jamaica and it may not be the best of weather, so we've decided on May 2nd, 2009!!!

Congrats Maureen!! That is sooo exciting..
now i think i am the last one to decide on a date- when FH comes home in June we are booking a hall but are going to compare prices for either
May 22nd 2009- Friday May 24th 2009- Sunday
Cause the 25th is Memorial Day so we can have a night time Sunday wedding- its almost like a Sat night- but CLM told me that most likely halls will charge you more than a fri and a normal sun price but a little less than a sat cause the next day everyone has off so they consider that sun kind of like a sat as well...
i guess we will see

i want it to be sunday so i have fri and sat to get things together but if the prices are alot different it might be fri---
when do you plan on having a wedding- month or season wise?

i want it either may or june. i havent picked an exact date yet. i wanted to do it in 2008 originally but jay wont be home than!! so i cant have a wedding without him. lol
