Deck the Halls with Rage and Anger

So I'm 3 days smoke-free now. I want to kill many, many people. Everyone is getting on my nerves. The guy who doesn't signal while changing lanes, the lady who snagged the last of the French Vanilla Creamer at 7-11, the little kid at the jr high concert last night who knocked over my purse accidentally. I want to strangle someone. And the things coming out of my mouth when driving? They bring Road Rage to a new level.

Did anyone else have inexplicable rage while trying to quit smoking?

I have unexplicable rage & I have never smoked
I have crossed passed with recently smoke free people & it is not a pretty sight.

And yesterday, I was talking to one of my co-workers about 'lost' and this other woman who watches it came over with the most asinine theories about it! I wanted to shake her until she understood how stupid her ideas were!

She's always had stupid ideas and been completely wrong about the show... but yesterday I wanted to slap her for it!

I did that!! Yesterday, I told him the card bothered me and please leave me alone! He got all abashed and started to explain. I cut him off and said '----, please leave me alone, you are making me extremely uncomfortable and your attitde towards me is beginning to scare me.'

It was right before we left work. he walked past my desk and said hi, so I told him I wanted to say something.

I ended up with 'I don't want to be your friend, so stop forcing me to interact with you.'

Maybe quitting smoking was a good thing then. you have possibly scared him away.

Or just made him want you more because of the way you acted towards him. Maybe he likes being told what to do!
