Decor ?

Does anyone know of any places that can do something like this?

Is this mostly done through a florist or an event design company?

I'm assuming lighting is another thing...through either the DJ or lighting company, right???

i looked at their site but I didn't see the fabric stuff...they mostly just had pics of flowers and like themed stuff.

there are a couple of companies that do that, and help with decor...i have the names at home and their cards and stuff...i can send you info later

Oooh, actually the florist would do that if anything, ask them...I am actually thinking of doing this not sure yet...well i know in the penthouse room right behind the sweetheart table is the oil painting type thing on the wall actually like this mural, and i think in the skylight room too and i DONT want that in the background lol, so either RH has to fix this or i have to get it done myself

no she means a company, she already booked her RH she is getting married at Oheka castle, she needs to see who she can hire to do this

florists could have someone working for them to do staging like that. Typically you need someone to stage the scene with props and fabric and then a lighting director to do the lighting. I know its expensive and one girl who is getting married is having one but this person is a strict hamtons area only. You would need to check your catering hall to verify that they would allow this.

I tried searching for others but cant' find them. I would ask the hall to see if they have any recommondations.

yeah, the hall does let me do it...the picture i posted is actually the room we're having our reception in...they have a vendor list but i think they only listed one vendor that i did check out (but wasn't really thrilled with...and they said they do fabric but to me they focused more on theme parties ie crazy sweet 16s and bat/bar mitzvahs).

someone told me that SE does 'wall washing' where they can change the color of the room...i assumed it meant using lights to change the wall/room color (like in this pic it was all red)...in addition to those white pillar things they use for the dance floor.

I dont know if its better to find an 'event decor' company or just look for a florist that can do the fabric and hopefully the dj can do the lights...or ill book a lighting company for that.

the other 'wall washing' with the fabric is something i wanted to look into also!

its hard describing things cuz i dont know the real terms for all this stuff

like other people suggested there is party sensation.

Now theres another place that does lights and stuff like that, they are at the top in their business, and infact this is who everybody uses for big celebrity events, shows and everything lol, so its pretty costly but bentley meeker is the only one i know of, and the other i mentioned before is party sensation and that is just from the list of vendors JT gave me but dont know what theyre work is like. You can check bentley meeker for ideas lol they do amazing work
