Anyone think it's possible to do rustic/vintage decor at a catering hall? I really want to believe there is a way to make this work on some level...

I think it depends on your venue. If it geared towards like a beachy feel, it might be harder to get the feeling that you want.
What venue are you at?

We're doing vintage theme in our flowers, dresses, tuxes, and then in all the details, such as the guys' shoes, cake topper, etc. We're not doing uplighting, because that is too modern for our taste. Everything will be very natural and light. That's how I'm getting the vintage feel.

Go on etsy for some ideas. We're doing the same thing and etsy has tons of rustic ideas. You don't necessarily have to buy from there but get ideas for some DIY's!
