Re: decorating for ceremony
my RH actually includes ceremony decorations so i dont have to worry about that. they decorate the canopy with white flowers and a few aisle baskets. i care more about the reception decorating so im not going to change what they give me for free for the ceremony.
i'll also have a DIY aisle runner with lavendar petals on the side to add some color.

Re: decorating for ceremony
great question. if it's (hopefully) outdoors, they have a gazebo so I guess I'll look into flowers for that but i have no clue.
i'm assuming whatever limo or flower place i use will provide an aisle runner.
if it rains and it's indoors, I'll put pillar candles in the fireplace and use the centerpieces somehow.
sorry, i'm so not creative - I'm waiting until after january to start thinking about this stuff.

Re: decorating for ceremony
i'm just getting some aisle arrangements all white flowers and some sprays for the arbor which is covered in ivy, those flowers will be all white as well. there is a brick wall surrounding it that has very colorful flowers in it.

Re: decorating for ceremony
i have a vision of what i would like - but not so sure how it will actually look or how much it will cost!
im getting married in skylight room at JT and this is what i picture:
dim lighting - i don't want it to be dark but since it will be 6pm and December there will be no light coming through the skylight - so i definitley want dim lighting so that candles can be seen and s its romantic.....i want an extra wide aisle runner - with red rose petals and white candles in hurricane vases all along the aisle - i really want to walk down a candle lit aisle.......then i'd like to put maybe 4 arrangements (2 on each side of the aisle) of all red roses....and i want the arch decorated in all red roses as well......

Re: decorating for ceremony
My RH already has everything set up, they do a runner and have flowers set up as well.
This is goiong to be a tough one...they had a great pic of a past wedding at the rh so I really want to try to go with white flowers for the cermony and try to arrange them the way the picture has them...who knows????? I think i have time for this still...or at least i hope

Hi where did you see this pic? We are also doing the ceremony at Giorgios and don't know exactly what we want to do either.
