Decorative boxes, invitation boxes or thai silk boxes

Original post by Espo22

Ok Christine of EAP gave me such a great site for boxes to use for my invites, although they seem to have every size but the one i need, maybe i'll get it just a little bit bigger if anything. Actually i cant find my size at all lol

of course i also come across thai silk boxes i did find one wholesale site that sells the thai silk boxes but you have to email for prices so i did and now waiting to see what they say. Thanks napavalley for giving me this suggestion and falling in love with something that probably costs too much but i think you said you saw them at great prices so let me know hahaha

anyone have any other good sites, i love the one christine sent me and the prices are amazing too, ill check one more time to see if i find a box to fix my invites.

ANy websites you girls could share would be helpful

Hey Denise,
I had a hunch you would like those thai silk boxes. Joesfuturewife posted the site that I saw. Also, I know that whiteaisle.com sells them but for alot more $$$.

Maybe what you could do is use the silk boxes for BP and parents and thai silk pouches for other invites?

PS Congrats on booking Christine. She is AMAZING!

it is an idea. I was also thinking last night that chinatown might have them, do you think they would? Its good bc with them you can bargain

thank you, yes she really is

I was going to suggest chinatown or the wholesale district. I got silk pouches with chopsticks for my engagement party for an incredible price! The store was right off the r/w stop on 23rd street I think.....

yeah my dad started asking me how much is it costing me now per invite and asked how much i was getting charged, which was double the price his business light bulb went up which always does and was telling me to start doing them for a living ...he said i can get my mom to help me, and even FMIL can do it in the evening, he'll basically have everyone do this, bc they have nothing better to do, i mean they only have full time jobs

You are welcome! Hopefully they will be able to understand you over the phone, if not...just take a quick trip over there. They have a bunch of solid colors, as well as some with prints. I am not sure what color you are looking for. The one I purchased were bronze, and they had lots of those when I went in Decmber. They had Brown, Black, Blue, Pink, Red...a whole bunch!
