i want to put a poem for my dad and fi's mom in the program but i'm having a difficult time finding one that i can use for both parents. does anyone have any ideas? thanks!
Though you’ve given us your blessing, I think you’ll understand; Why I look at you so tenderly as I reach to take his hand.
A wedding is a joyful time as two young lives unite, Yet it’s time to think about the years that have gone by.
My memories are special gifts, their worth cannot be measured. The loving home you made for me my heart will always treasure.
And though I’m very happy as I make this brand new start. The love I feel for each of you is forever in my heart.
(Your Special Message Here)Example:Mom & Dad, Words can not express the love that I feel. Thanks, Jennifer
(Your Title) My Very Special Parents Mom and Dad
I may no longer be that little child who always Wanted another hug or minute with you But I still miss you when we are apart.
I may no longer need your hand for every step I take But I still need your acceptance and support of everything I do.
I may not be that little child who asked For all the things I ever wanted in the world But that’s because long ago you taught me How to go after my dreams.
I may no longer be that little child who Looked to you to share every hurt, smile and tear But I still feel like that child whenever I think of you…
I’ll always love you, Mom and Dad, With the heart of that little child Grown to love you only more.

Re: dedication poem help
eeks...sorry didnt see that it was just for your dad and FI's mom....
My Walk With Dad
When I was small and we would walk, I held your big, strong hand. And when life brought me trials and tears, You said, “I understand.”
And now you walk me down the aisle To meet another man. Yet no one loves a little girl The way her daddy can.
I’ve found someone to share my life And know that you are glad. And yet a part of both of us May be a little sad.
For even when I’m old and gray Your little girl I’ll be. No matter where I go in life, Your love will go with me
To: My Mother On My Wedding Day
You said when I first came to you I was your little boy, A tiny gift that Heaven sent To fill your life with joy.
Now memories and thoughts go back To happy yesterdays, To wind-up cars and playing ball And sometimes stubborn ways.
No longer just a child at play, It's time to take a wife. Yet part of you is etched in me As I go forth in life.
I'll not forget your tender love, Or where my life began. You've helped to make me what I am -- A boy who's now a man.

Just out of curiousity, where exactly in the program are you putting them?
