Delayed Honeymoon

FH is going through Port Authority Academy right now and it is not over until 2 weeks before our wedding. We have no idea when we will be able to go on our honeymoon b/c of this. I am pretty bummed about it. Is anyone else taking a delayed honeymoon?

We are

9-27-08 is our wedding and we will HM the week before Thanksgiving.

We didn't go away right after.

We're actually leaving for our honeymoon the last week of April.....so a 6 week delay. It's kinda nice because it's another thing I have to look forward to.

We are going on ours a month or so after. We're getting married on November 29th and not leaving until January 1st. I teach college classes so I dont want to miss the end of the semester and FH cant take off Christmas week. To me its not a big deal because its something to look foward to after the wedding.

I guess I am just sad b/c I dont know when we are going and I cant plan it =( Now I have to save another week off from work. I am going away for a bachlorette party too. Im stressed about all the time off I need

We are, well we are taking a very mini quick get away right after, but our real HM is not till November
We had to wait out the rainy/hurricane season.
I am looking forward to it being away from the wedding

We are also having a delayed honeymoon. Going for a fast get a way to Florida then in the fall we will go away.

OUr wedding is 1.27/08 our honeymoon will be in July or aug. 2009

this makes me feel better....I know will I have something to look forward to again now. Are you guys still taking time off from work after the wedding anyway?

we are def. doing a delayed!!! after we get married in dec i still have 2 weeks of classes and then the holidays...we are going in July...

My wedding was on a Saturday night, we took off Monday and Tuesday. We went to Mohegun Sun for a night just to get out of town for a little.

I kinda am...we're going to caesar's poconos after the wedding because I didn't want to travel far in december (because of work and holiday travel) and then we're going to go somewhere tropical the summer after..

Thats what I am thinking of doing...the days anyway since I am so limited to time off. I dont know why but it makes me feel like its OK if someone else has done it....

we are taking a mini hm to atlantis right after the wedding and then going to australia for two weeks in december six months later. it is worth the wait to see the great barrier reef- I cannot wait.
