Well I think it all depends on the type of services you choose and how much your packages are. I am having a hard time deciding what to do for tips also. I’m trying to finalize my budget for my October wedding and it’s going to cost almost a $100 just in tips for what people have been telling me.
We have a DJ & MC so I was thinking like $50 each
We have a photographer, assistant and video guy, which I have no idea what to tip. The package we have is a fortune so even more money on them is stressing me. I know a few people who have recently gotten married who said I should tip a minimum on $75 to the photographer and video guy (each) and $50 to the assistant.
Then there’s limos....so much stuff.
Its crazy when the 'service' charge is included and then the contracts says, 'gratuities are appreciated'

Now that I've figured out the RH tipping who else/how much to give other vendors?

Photographer & Lighting assistanst
Ceremony Musicians (string quartet)
DJ/assistant/MC
Florist (for set up?)
Limos (they are doing drop off/pick up service for us. Do we tip each time or at end of day?)
Hair
makeup
Officiant

-Florist-we did NOT tip, we tipped the delivery guy when he dropped off boks
-Ceremony musicians we did not tip at all-we had this at the church and had to pay 250 for the organist, which to me is alot for 40 minutes-we did however send our priest a TY with a $50 GC in it
-DJ we tipped I think $100 total, it was the owner and 2 assistants
-Limos-we tipped him $100 dollars b/c he had alot of stops-he picked my up in suffolk dropped me at the church, turned around picked up DH and the boys then back to the church, then OWG then to CB, if you have more then one limo I would tip the limo driver 50-75 each
-Hair-20-30
-Makeup-25
-Photographer we will tip when all is said and done, so far I would give him a pretty nice tip-I still havent done my album
-Videographer same thing-tipped after all is said and done
