the favors sound like a good idea,
im also thinking of using icecream scoops, and putting candy in them with netting around. I went to one really italian wedding, and they had pizza cutters, but they were classy, they were boxed and wrapped. for salt & pepper shakers there is a set of pear shaped ones for 'the perfect pair'...
im also having around 100 people and planning

Yes you can have married bridesmaids. I dont know if they call them something else. I know the maid of honor is called matron of honor if she is married.
