Re: Small Wedding
here is the suggestion I posted on the other thread:
If you want to go to Queens, there is a really nice small venue that does wedding catering in Forest Hills and I think they are very affordable.

Re: Small Wedding
Try the Swan Club - they have smaller rooms and the grounds are BEAUTIFUL! Their prices are amazing too!

I loved the swan club from the outside but my FH wasn't in love with it. I love that feel though but I wasn't crazy about a few things as well on the inside.
Sorry, I didn't realize Swan Club was already suggested!

Re: Small Wedding
Try westbury manor for there smaller room upstairs. if you stay at your reception hall them may let you do a smaller wedding in the glass room.

Re: Small Wedding
What about Cheateau la Mer? their smaller room would be good for that many people and their pricing is really good. def within your range.
We threw a suprise 30th for my brother there in December and they were all great.

Re: Small Wedding
Where are you booked already? Could you change your wedding day to a Sunday brunch? We originally were looking for this and got some good deals. Then we went to Westbury Manor and were given an amazing price for a sunday wedding and didn't have to resort to the brunch idea, they actually threw in a continental breakfast for all the guest prior to the ceremony. FM me if you want my pricing, but I am not sure what the cost would be for november. Good luck!!!!!

Re: Small Wedding
try captain bills. with a party of 100 i think you can either do the restaurant side (private rooms off of that...) OR the bayview house. (you might have to guarantee more than 100 for hte bayview though.. not sure... ) and in Nov I am sure they will bu less than 100 with everythign included. they would have been under $100 PP for us in May.

Re: Small Wedding
Old Field Club is $110 on Friday and Sundays and $130 for Saturdays no matter what time of the year.
I tried to negotiate but they wouldn't budge.
Good luck!
