Re: Opinions------> HELP

Awww my date twin is having second thoughts!! I'm sorry, I know it must be confusing for you

Listen, I went back and forth a few times between November 2011 (I always wanted a fall wedding and I'm always hot, so I wanted cool weather) and then we fell in love with our venue, which has an amazing new outside courtyard that we REALLY wanted to be able to use. So we started talking March 2011. In the end, for us, November ended up being MUCH more affordable and we chose the 11th so that hopefully it's early enough in the month that we will still have decent weather for people to use the outside.

Just keep in mind what is MOST important that day...and if you decide to change your mind...it's OKAY. I would suggest sitting down at your venue and talking it through with them. Price, minimums, etc will likely change so keep that in mind and talk it through It can't hurt to know your options!

Speaking on the way the weather has behaved the past few years, your getting married early in November, and we've had amazing weather in November as it is. Its warm clear through Thanksgiving. A friend of mine just got married on the friday after Thanksgiving last year and it was so hot she never even had to wear the little coat she bought to go on top of her wedding dress because it was like 60 degrees!
You can still have your CH outside, and enjoy the hall and the water view. stop overthinking things, your date is perfect and if the only thing you don't like is the warmer month, i would day its not worth it! i wouldn't want to wait another ½ a year to marry my FH and spend more money when i could do it for cheaper!

are you okay with having a 9/11 wedding? It would prob be cheaper anyway.

I'm extremely indecisive as well, so I definitely feel your pain. We considered getting married in February to save money, but were convinced we'd be hit with a blizzard (FH swears he's unlucky).

I had to get married during a school break (I'm a school psychologist), so I had limited choices. I would have preferred May to July.

Have you thought of a Thursday wedding? We were quoted about half of a Saturday evening price for our hall just by having it on a Thursday.
