I want to say you are lying. But... it is better that he leave her now. Could you imagine her dealing with this wack job for the rest of her life. Or for that matter such a mamma's boy. She would be miserable. I know she is hurting right now but it really seems for the best.

Wow...that could quite possibly be the CRAZIEST thing that I've ever heard in my entire life. And even the fact that he told he that she said those things...shows what kind of guy he is. I would NEVER tell anyone that. Never in my life would I imagine that someone would say that!!!

I feel bad for your friend but theres someone out there for everyone and she'll meet the right guy!!! And the right FMIL that will love her ears JUST THE WAY THEY ARE!!

I know, I agree it's for the best. I would run for the hills and I feel sorry for the girl that ends up with him.

They are still talking (about whether to continue) but I wish my friend would just end it. It is for the better, this lady sounds like she will make my friend's life a living hell.

And I also agree that this guy should NEVER have told her what his mom said. what, do you have no COMMON SENSE???

Sounds like a mama's boy! Mom is crazy and won't let go so she'll find anything wrong with a girl and he's just so stuck on his mom he will follow anything she says! Probably even when he disagrees. Obviously he thought she was great and brought her home to his parents, but this sounds like the kind of guy who doesn't do what he wants, only what mom thinks is best.
Your friend needs to know it's not about her, it's about their family dynamic and she should run away since it will be a marriage long issue!
So ***** for your friend, but she needs to have the confidence in herself to say, I don't want to be anywhere near this mess anyway!

All I have to say is WOW.... Have a little common decency- why would he tell her his mom said that. If he was in love with her he would not tell that to her and continue the relationship. She should end it now before its too late if he is being distant now.. Poor girl!!!

WHAT?!? I am totally speechless on this one!!! I can't believe that someone's MOTHER could say something like that about someone! I also can't believe that this guys is such a friggin mama's boy and would call off a relationship because of his mother's rediculous standards!!!!!

I hope your friend realizes what an amazing catch she is and finds someone who appreciates what he has. I feel bad for whoever ends up with that guys because they are obviously never going to be good enough for his mommy!

omg!! i cannot believe what this lady said, expecially since she has soo much going for her. as much as it probably hurts, she should run for the hills and take it as a blessing she met them now and not a year from now...this mom seems to have some issues
