wouldnt your church ceremony be scheduled for earlier when the sun is still out?

i'm confused - first, i think jackie is right - wouldn't the church be earlier, before the sun sets?

and even if it's not, if you're getting married inside why does it need to be light out?

Yea I am with them.. Can you get an earlier time for the ceremony at the church?

There is 3 hrs in between my ceremony ending and the cocktail hour starting for us.

My ceremony starts at 3:30 and it gets dark out at 4:30. On Friday they do not have an earlier time and villas grounds are beautiful I don't want to not be able to.get some pics during the day

my invitation calls guests for 6 so figure ceremony should begin around 6:30 but we are getting dropped off at the RH like 3-3:30 for pictures.
