Is there a way I can delete a thread? I recieved a very nasty, rude response and would like nothing more than to delete it. Also do not want fh to read it, I think it would upset him for than it upsets me.

However, you have to realize that when you post on a public forum such as this one, you leave yourself open to the opinions of others. Sorry you're hurt by what someone said, but you have to understand that not everyone will agree with your sentiments.

Thank you! I totally understand that, but truthfully sometimes things are uncalled for, I would never say hurtful things like that to anyone on here, nor do I expect people to say them to me

You're welcome.
People take things differently and sometimes the person giving their opinions might not be as 'hurtful' as you might take it.
If you're overly sensitive, it's best not to ask in the first place - sad, and harsh - yes, but it's the truth. We're all entitled to our opinions.

Lets not make too big of a deal about it. I do not want to start any drama, or a fight, but I do appreciate your concern, thank you.

you are 100% right, which is why before the response was even made, I deleted as much of the post as i possibly could...I really appreciate everyone helping out, it means a lot, it is a very sensitive subject, and I shouldnt have posted it, but I really had nobody else to talk to. Next time I wont be so open.

You'd be surprised about how much suspicion will arise from deleting it. Think quickly, speak slowly is that I always go by.

Re: delete a thread?
Remember too...the deletion of what you wrote is still in the post. Many people 'quoted' you, so it still shows.

Re: delete a thread?
Not to start drama but Christine is right. You can't post asking for opinions if you don't want them.
What was said was not rude... It was honest and to the point. If you don't like what was said, ignore it. It's just the opinion of one person.
As for deleting the post... You can FM Ron and Liz at LIWeddings NYCityWeddings.
