I cannot believe how AMAZING the apartment looks just cleared out & with a coat of white paint!!

I am soo excited for you guys!!

I think this is the first picture I've seen of the entire front of the house ... it's so cute! The porch will make it look fantastic!!!

Holy crap!! Look at all of that garbage they had. The apartment looks great already. It is so cool that you will have a place to live while you take your time and renovate the house. Where are you guys living now?

Before you mentined you were taking down that kitchen wall, I was going to recommend it. It will really open up the kitchen, which seems small compared to the rest of the house. A friend of mine just did something similiar and it looks incredible. I LOVE the open floor plan. Great for entertaining and when you have kids.

Keep up the great work. You are lucky to have such helpful/handy family & friends. When we moved in, we didn't have much to do outside of painting and unpacking, etc. But only my mom, my hubby's dad, and my uncle offered to help. We have some more to do, but it will be just me & hubby or contractors.

I just can't believe people actually can live like that! Its so much clutter, yuck!!

Julie the work you have done looks amazing! The apartment painted white makes a huge difference and the kitchen is really coming along! I love your porchidea - its going to look so welcoming and be so nice to it outside. Keep posting pics!!

Looks amazing!

We did a similar thing with our kitchen, and took down a wall to open it up into the eating area and the living room.....such a difference!

i was just sitting eatig breakfast this morning, thinking how great it is all open like that!
