It's not a nice as Hawaii I'm sure but I was looking at all inclusive trips from JFK to Cancun for 1500 for 2 people. It includes airfare, hotel and food and the hotel was on the beach. It might not be as nice but it would be great to get away.

Cancun definitely sounds nice. You could always do Key West or somewhere in Florida and sometimes you can get short cruises for really cheap. Or even maybe Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. I don't know the prices for any of these trips but I just wanted to give you destination ideas! I hope you can find something because you definitely deserve to get some time where it's just you and FH!!

Cancun is a great mini break. FH & I went in December when I was in between jobs. It was short & inexpensive. We originally hadn't planned to do any tours. We did end up doing some but sitting in on the beach would have been enough for me.

Cancun is starting to sound better and better! Thank you! Although Future brother in law (FH's brother) e-mailed me and said that everyone really wants us to come and was even trying to help me choose cheaper flights but it will still be an expensive trip.

I'm sorry about Hawaii, but I agree with the other girls, take a vacation just the two of you. We went to Jamaica for about 1500. Stayed at an all inclusive (Royal Decameron Hotel, Montego Bay). We booked online and saved a bundle. I'm a teacher too, and I know how it its(student teaching is rough, let me know if you need any advice). I know you need a break!!! Take one with your sweetie. You may even have more fun, just the two of you!

Awww you are so sweet and thank you! What grade do you teach? I am teaching Pre-K now but when I student teach it is going to be between grades 1-6. I will definitely need some advice! Thank you again!!! ![]()
