ok first can i say how confused i was 'i was like HUH i didnt uninvite anyone last night' i looked quick and thought it was my post
Well seems like you feel strongly about this so stick with your decision. If she is being childish and telling others not to attend your wedding then that is ridiculous

i don't think its wrong to ask her not to come. she shouldn't put you in that situation in the first place. It seems like she has a lot of issues and should just stay away from the whole thing. Especially if the ceremony is at the RH and not at a church where she could just sneak in.

Re: I uninvited someone last night.....was I wrong? (LONG)
its your day and your decision!
i would stick by that and not invite her, she has no right to ask others not to go to YOUR wedding because of her feelings, she has to work through her own issues with the divorce and leave your wedding out of it.
i think you made the right decision.....
good luck with everything!!!!

I thought it was you too!!!
But only you can decide if you did the right thing. If you have no regrets about the decision then it was the right one. It's your wedding and you don't need drama.

I think you made a good choice by writing a letter. It is completely wrong of her to ask people not to go to your wedding. Im sure going through a divorce is tough...but to ask people not to go??? Shes not divorcing you!!

not at all!!! if you were getting married in a church, i could see her attending only the ceremony since really anyone can attend. but if she's making your guests not attend because of issues she's having, then still wants to show up, i'd have a problem with that.

Oh, I totally understand, I hope you don't think I was attacking you. I was just surprised because I thought it was Espo22 when you posted at first, then I saw her write back. So funny!

Those were my exact words to FH and his family. The door is open for her to speak to me about it and maybe she can explain that its all a big misunderstanding, but so far she has just spoken about us behind our backs and im really tired of it.
Im relieved that Im not the only one who feels the way I do.

No way, you are not wrong for asking her not to come. She was not up front with you and she went behind your back and asked others not to come??? You are right, she was making YOUR wedding about HER. That is very immature!

No, not at all. I thought it was funny that of all the user names to have, my is one number away from Denise's who has posted like 40,000 times and is one of the most well known brides on here.

That is absolutely BALLSY of her to make this about her and ask people not to come to your wedding (and even worse if they are actually listening to her!).
I don't think you're wrong at all to do what you did. I applaud you, in fact!
