Re: NWR: diet pills
No, I cannot reccomend a good diet pill to you...ahem lol But what I can tell you is in the morning, try to drink a cup of green tea. It is supposed to help boost your metabolism and give you a bit of energy. It's a different taste at first, so if you do start drinking it, just put a bit of sugar in it and you will be good. After a while you can start drinking it without the sugar and its delish...If you dont want to drink the tea, they sell green tea liquid supplements. It comes in a brown dropper bottle (its esentially green tea extract) and you can add it to your regular tea or coffee and not notice a taste difference (just dont mix with water...yuck)

If you really want to take them...go to GNC and ask for a recommendation. I have taken them and dont recommend them. They made me super jittery, break out in rashes etc. The side effects suck.

Re: NWR: diet pills
Um, I agree with Barb. Please don't take diet pills. My stomach is wrecked from years of taking that $hit. I have everything, and now I have serious stomach issues. If anything, eat foods that will fill you up, like berries and oatmeal. And water. Maybe even green tea. But I beg you, and your stomach begs you, don't take diet pills.

Re: NWR: diet pills
Just a quick note about green tea. I LOVE green tea. I drink it everyday (a habit from Japan), and honestly, I have never noticed it curbing my appetite or helping me lose weight. It is a good antioxidant and will definitely make you pee more, but I don't believe in its weight loss properties. Drink it because you like it and it is good for you. Oh, and you REALLY shouldn't lose anymore weight. You look good!

but if its your choice to take a pill then it is, i don't think its right for someone on here to tell you to STFU-that was uncalled for

Barb, I only start when I feel that my friends are being attacked and when Colleen is upset about something and she was upset about that
everyone on here knows that I am the last person that starts drama on here, but I felt that was not needed

Re: NWR: diet pills
I wish I could, but all the stuff I ever took (which was all pre-WW) made me crazy jittery, nervous and cranky.
My advice is to find a tea that you really like, and have that as a go-to when you're hungry...it'll help fill you up, at least. My favorite daytime one is from Tazo Tea, it's called Passion...it tastes fruity and is purple (yay!)...at night I drink Sleepytime from Celestial Seasonings. No points if you drink it without sugar or with Splenda!
Lots and lots of water too
I know you're on WW - have you ever tried the Core program? I'm much more comfortable with that since I don't need to track points.

Re: NWR: diet pills
I said it in another thread yesterday. You need to learn to love the way you look. You most definitely don't need to lose anymore weight. There is such a thing as too skinny to where it is not healthy.
