Sorryy I didn't mean anything to start from this thread. I don't think anyone was trying to start drama. I thank everyone for just tryin to look for me. I've never taken diet pills and never researched them. I thought they were just good for making you feel full. Apparently I'm living under a medical rock.

Re: NWR: diet pills
Don't do it!!!!! The second you stop taking the pills you will gain double the weight - I have seen this happen to 3 of my friends! Plus 2 of them broke out really bad! JMO
EDIT: You look GREAT - you don't need them!!! When I get hungry I drink more water or snack on carrots!!!

Re: NWR: diet pills
you are too funny...The diet pills dont make you feel full they try to rev up your metabolism or some of them will block fat absorption (Dont make me tell you the Alli story again...) There are alot of natural things out there to take, to speed your metabolism, but your metabolism is already so high from being active it wont be worth it...Just keep doing what your doing and stay healthy!!

Re: NWR: diet pills
Colleen,
As a lifetime member at WW, I KNOW you know better. But I also see where you're coming from. My guess is you're either bored with the program or you haven't been doing what you need to do. Either way, my recommendation is to switch things up. Eat different foods, find different ways to exercise.
But you and I both know that pills are NOT the answer. If pills actually worked, then WW wouldn't be in business.
Actually let me rephrase....they do work....like everything else. But ONLY when you're actually doing it. Once you stop, the weight will come right back on and you know that.

Re: NWR: diet pills
There are vitamins and dietary supplements you can take to help boost your metabolism and naturally curb hunger, like taking a fiber supplement or 5HTP...but as for a magic pill...
I WISH!!!

Okay- 09'er crashing...
Now, I am reading this and going WHAT THE HELL IS SHE THINKING??????
You are fine the way you are! If you think you need diet pills, I think you are crazy. I am sorry if I am coming across as harsh but you CLEARLY do not need them!
When I was younger, I took Stackers, Diet Fuel and even Metabalife. Now, I stuggle with thyroid disease which is believed to either be hereditary or caused by diet pills. It's not fun.
Do not take the crap or you'll be sorry.
I have learned the the best way to stay full is to consume lots of while grain carbs, fruits, veggies, lean meats, etc.
Good luck!

If you think you need diet pills, perhaps you need to see a therapist instead to do something about your self esteem. Sorry if thats harsh but I have seen a couple of posts lately where you are looking to lose weight and if you aren't satisfied now you might never be.

Haha that does happen, coz you really cant eat any sort of fatty stuff while on that...I'm pretty sure it just blocks your body from absorbing the fat so it runs right on through you

I don't think it is fair to make any type of assumption like this about Colleen, especially since you don't even know her. Everyone has those days where we're like, MAN, if I could just pop a pill to get rid of this extra weight...but it does NOT mean it is indicative of needing 'therapy' or having self-esteem issues.

Thank you for the support, I appreciate it. Its true, everyone does have those days. I had a quick moment today where I considered diet pills. I'm PMS-ing, what do you expect? Instead of thinkng about it and researching the awfulness, I posted on here (as per usual, I turn to my LIW girls, who doesnt!?) I'm over it now, I deleted the post. I'll end it here, because I never intended to start anything.
