maybe your FH doesn't feel comfortable un-inviting her ... just let your mom do it, if that makes life easier.
ultimately, as long as she doesn't come, who cares how she was un-invited

Re: advice needed (really long sorry...)
hmm i dont know with this one. it's tough. i can really see both of your sides. the way she treated you was unacceptable? *** made her act like that? What does FH say about the way she acted towards you?
Since his friend is getting invited (and you didnt want him there), maybe he should compromise by not inviting this woman. It's tough though.,
im sorry

I agree... it's FH's place to call her not your mom's. It's nice of her to offer though. First, I think he should have asked you if she could be invited before just doing it! Not cool. I agree with you.. if you REALLY have a problem with someone then he should respect your reasons and understand. I kinda understand his side b/c she was there for him but really... a lot of people are there for us that doesn't mean we can invite all of them to our weddings. Esp. if he really has no relationship with her now.

Hmmm, this is tricky and I can definitely see why you don't want her there. Honestly, if it was me, I would probably just cave and let her come because I always try to avoid conflict. However, if this woman is aware that you don't like her and she guilted FH into inviting her, she has some set! Maybe FH could call her and explain that being that your parents are paying for the wedding, they don't want to add any additional guests on at this point because it's already costing them alot of money.

I would stick to your guns. Honestly, if it were me, I wouldn't want here there either. My advice would be to try to speak to FH again tonight, when you've both been calmed down. Maybe he'll allow the comprimise since he won with having his friend be invited.
I don't think I'd have your mom call, I'd be afraid of the drama it may cause, and honestly I think its FH's place to call. I'd speak to FH and see where it gets you.
I'm sorry Shauna

This is a tough one, I think it's your FH's place to call her not your parents. This is so hard but if you really have a problem with someone then he should understand. . . . I get it 'she was there for you FH' but how long ago was this?
I know I told you about our best man, that I can't stand, I don't get it because my FH hardly talks to him, yet he is a BM, I just had to let it go.

Before I can answer......is it going to cause more problems now to uninvite her? Did he give her a written invite or word of mouth?

i think if your FH agrees to uninvite her then he should do it...if you're mom does it but FH still wants this lady there what would happen between you two? Wouldnt it cause alot more stress and arguing? your FH should have asked you about inviting her before saying yes...

Re: advice needed (really long sorry...)
I think you need to sit down w/ Matt and have a heart-to-heart. You already went along with the 'friend' thing. If you feel that this is just too much, you need to say so.
I'm just concerned that it will be causing more problems if you now uninvite her.
Of course, I can always show up and take care of her out in the parking lot

Re: advice needed (really long sorry...)
What worries me is going to be Matt's reaction and if this is going to cause a major issue. But now that you added that little tidbit of information about him having too many, he should be responsible enough to call and tell her that there is just no way it can happen. He needs to man up and tell her that he had a few too many and he should have spoken with you and your parents first.

He should uninvite her. If I invited every single person who ever did me a favor, I'd have a mile long list!
