Aww, my FH is also my best friend and he LOVES giving me input on my outfits - lol sometimes, uninvited input. He has already said he wishes he could go dress shopping with me and I wish he could too - after all, I'm dressing to impress him on our big day and so who's the best one to say YES! THAT ONE!!!

I am planning to take my MOH and mum to go shopping but have thought about showing him several pictures of choices and gauge his opinions.

Maybe you can bring him along, try on a bunch, and not actually tell him the one you pick? He will probably have visual reactions to each dress that will help you choose.

My FH will probably take wedding pics before the ceremony so he won't see me for the first time walking down the aisle. Alot of people do this now so traditions are changing.

This is not a bad idea to try on a lot and then have him wait outside while u pick one to put a down payment on ?
fh has beeen giving me opinions on gowns as well but i been showing him soooo many pictures that he doesnt even remember many of them

I agree with this as well. Even though your FH will have seen your gown ahead of time, there will still be the element of surprise because he won't know which gown you ended up choosing.

agreed. It can be like a David Tuterra thing. You both narrow it down to 3 dresses, but you actually decide which one you will wear and surprise him the day of the wedding!

I'm all about the traditional stuff - but in your situation I think it is a FANTASTIC idea for him to come w/ you!!!!

If that is what you both feel comfortable with that is what is important - forget tradition, it's what makes you happy!!!

I also agree w/ the other girls - have him help you pick out a couple and then in the end you have the final say.

Orrrr both of you pick out the dress and as an added surprise - have a 2nd gown to change into at the reception, one that you picked out on your own- doesn't even have to be a white wedding dress - something fun and sexy for HIM to see you in!!!!

this is a good idea! i wouldnt want him to know which one but if you feel you need his input this is a good way !
