(deleted by accident)-Broke

We are in the same Situation but keep ur head high.. Like someone said to me At least we got jobs...

omg, I feel you. I worry about finances all the time whereas FH always thinks we're ok. We had $100 in our joint account as of yesterday which FH assured me was enough until this friday when we get paid. I check it today and we are in the red by 75 bucks because of autopayments he forgot about!

I'm so annoyed since if I hadn't checked today, we would've got hit with a penalty. To make it worse, we just paid for a bunch of things for the house so we BARELY covered the damn 75 bucks from both our accounts!

I was so stressed and pissed that I snapped 'I was never this poor before you came along!'

lol, before he came along I was living at home with alot of disposable income going toward shoes and bags!!! sigh. i miss it.

We are not poor. But it sure feels like it right now.

I work 2 jobs; and still can't seem to have a week where i have extra $$ let alone anything to even put towards a wedding

That's how i feel! I love the fact that i have my own home and FH & I are building a future togeher; but i sometimes look back to the days when i was still living at home rent free going to out lunch everyday; shopping; going to dinner on the weekends! Those days come far & few between now

it's not just you. we had 4k saved for deposits for our wedding. now one of our cars is broken. the other one JUST got fixed. I have a mortgage and an unfinished kitchen and...i just found out my furnace is dying and guess how much it's gonna cost? yep..deposit $ gone. so freaking sad.

Totally feel you on this one. I've not been able to reach a thousand in savings since putting deposit on our RH and photog. I'll ALMOST reach it and then something for the house pops up. Soooo disheartening.

I can't wait until we are moved in so I can have weekends for overtime instead of playing bob the builder. Lol, so pathetic that this is what I'm waiting for- giving up weekends to make $$$!!!

Ahhhhh and it KILLS me that I could've saved so much money then if i didn't pi$$ it all away on going out and shopping!!!!

we should all win lotto....

my FH and I decided to move in to cut cost, my awesome parents moved to the Dom Rep. 2 years ago and left us their apt. and paying no rent has been a savior. It is why i am able to have my 'dream wedding' if not, i'd have to scale down BIG TIME. But nothing last forever, next year im passing it on to my sis so her and her Hubby can also save, but it has def taken away any stress factor. I just hope that i have $$ left over for a deposit for a house... hehe

I used to do more things to before... now that i am trying to save mney for house & wedding... i have def, cut down my expenses...

UGH that's s u c ks sorry that always happens! Why do cars always break when you have tons of other expenses!!! When it rains it pours

Well look at the bright side girls, you have the man of your dreams to battle life's struggles with.

FH and I still live at home with the parents and if it wasn't for that, I would not be able to afford to plan a wedding in only 5 months. We got tired of not living with each other, and FH and I are paying every penny of it.

We were initially going to do it in Dom. Rep. where my parents are from but then we would of had to fly everyone out! bang:

Just be thankful for everything that you have and God will bless you with everything you need. He does not give you more than you can bear.
Things will work out how they are meant to work out .
