i got mine at macy's. i ordered it the first day I tried it on so they give you a first day discount

the only prob at macys is that they mark everything up so that discount you get is the actual price at other stores... what is the cap on their alts? is bustling included?

i got mine at macys also - i found it somewhere else for more $ but the alterations were included in that price - i got the dress for less plus my moms employee discount at macys - i think that if i spend 500 or 600 on alterations than i would have been better off getting it from the other place but i felt more comfortable ordering from macy's....and im hoping that the alterations are not that much! but i hear macys alterations are expensive and there is no cap oh and my dress is TREMENDOUS on me!

i am changing my dress quite a bit so I know im going to pay a bit for alterations. I loved the sales person at macys and got stellar service. And yes the discount brought it just below what others charge and I might pay more for alterations but I had such a great experience I felt the few bucks I might have saved somewhere else wasn't worth it.

I agree with everyone else...I loved the service at macys..I went to the smithaven mall..Which macys did everyone else use? Also b/c I got my dress at a trunk show if I order my bridesmaid dresses there it will be 20% for the girls.

I am a demetrios bride~ I got my gown at smithaven mall and will prob have it altered there...yes they do mark things up though...working at a different salon I learned this the hard way! lol

I'm a demetrios bride! I found my dress at Macys but I ordered it from Burtons because they gave me a better price.

I went to the Smithhaven macys. THey were awesome when I went to try on dresses. Were great at 'if you like this one you might really like this one', that is actually how i picked my dress. I loved one but my mom hated it.....they suggested another one and I really loved it and my mom loved it. I felt like I received great personal attention. And the seamstress was there to look at the dress since I am changing the neckline quite a bit. and its going to be cheaper to do it in house than a pattern change.

That is the same service I receieved...I can't wait to go there and start the alterations!!! I worked with Kim (I think that is her name)...Red hair kinda young..>Who did you work wiht?
